recomine was selected for funding in the implementation phase by the BMBF

The funding program “Innovation and structural transformation / WIR!" of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) supports the joint project "recomine - Resource-oriented environmental technologies for the 21st century". As part of the project, the Ore Mountain Region (Erzgebirge) should become a model region for the future-oriented handling of residual materials from mining. Up to 15 million euros will flow into the joint project over the next five years. The Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (HIF), which belongs to the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig (UFZ), the SAXONIA site development and management company and the Erzgebirge Economic Development Corporation (Wirtschaftsförderung Erzgebirge GmbH) are involved in the management of the recomine-project.
